After a close mentor talked me into working at my local rock climbing gym while in high school, I unexpectedly found a new passion and community that I did not previously know existed. Since then, rock climbing has continued to be a large part of my life. It brings me a lot of joy to introduce the activity to people looking for a new adventure. This led me to the people behind Climbers Crag, a social media agency geared towards the climbing and outdoor industry. Their main focuses have been through Youtube and Instagram and I have thoroughly enjoyed creating new content across these ever-growing digital spaces.
As Climbers Crag began to build clientele and recognition, there was a need for the brand to have more identity. When creating the new logo, we wanted it to be quickly recognizable on a social media page and for it to embody the climbing community as a whole. We took inspiration from El Capitan, a mountain that is famous around the world for its storied history in climbing and became widely recognizable through movies such an “Free Solo”.
